Dill & Bizzy: An Odd Duck and a Strange Bird
Dill is an ordinary duck. At least he thinks that he is. Then Bizzy comes. She is a very strange bird. She looks strange because she has a big red tutu, her neck is green and white, she has a red beak, blue eyes, eyelashes, and antennae on her head which has a red feather drop on it. Bizzy wants Dill to be an odd duck. They play together. They juggle peanuts upside down and in a figure eight, and they eat hot dogs and decorate the fountain with ketchup and mustard. Then Dill says that maybe he can be a little bit odd so he and Bizzy can be best friends.
In this book, they keep on saying the same things over and over again, but I like it because it is very fun to read for children. The pictures are very funny. My favorite part is where Dill is juggling the peanuts. I think Dill and Bizzy become very good friends because they like to do fun things together that are different. I think children who like strange things and ordinary things would like it.
