Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior: Quest Mode (Book 5 8-Bit Warrior series): An Unofficial Minecraft Adventure

This is a Minecraft story that starts off with Runt, the warrior in charge of protecting Village Town, being awarded for saving the town. After leaving the award ceremony, Runt is approached by Kolb, who tells Runt that the town is still not safe and that Herobrine will be attacking very soon. Herobrine, also known as the eye-less one, is known for terrorizing Village Town with his army of zombies and skeletons. Kolb tells Runt that this time he must stop Herobrine all on his own, and he must leave on the quest right away. Throughout his journey to Herobrine’s dungeon, Runt runs into many problems, and it is up to him to solve his problems and finally defeat Herobrine.

Since this story is part of a longer Minecraft saga, without knowing the history of the characters there were some things that were confusing because it spoke about what had happened in the books before. Overall, there was a good mix of adventure, humor, and emotion throughout the story, which kept the reader interested in seeing what would happen next.
