Dawnshard: From The Stormlight Archive
When a ghost ship is found drifting along the coast, it is identified as having come from a mission on Akinah, a storm-shrouded island from which no one has ever returned. Queen Navani Kholin wants more information about the mysterious place, but all who go near find their magic drained, so it must be reached by sea.
Ryan Ftori’s larkin, Chiri-Chiri, has fallen ill. And the only way to cure her is to take her to the ancestral home of the larkin: Akinah. She accepts the call of Navani and sets sail with her crew, but she soon realizes just how dire the situation is and that the world she knows and loves may perish if she and her crew don’t succeed…
A Stormlight Archive book placed between Oathbringer and Rhythm of War, Dawnshard offers an all-new storyline and rich, well-developed characters! I liked this book because it was filled with the entrapping, magical writing and the fantastical world familiar from the Stormlight Archive, gluing your eyes to the pages until the very end (when you want to read it again). I would recommend this to anyone looking for an entertaining, well-defined, and fun adventure!
