Daddy’s Back-to-School Shopping Adventure
Daddy’s Back-to-School Shopping Adventure is about a family who has to go back to school shopping. They have a list of things to buy and can only buy what is on the list. The kids see all these fun things they want like, strawberry-scented pencil boxes, glow in dark glue stick, and a glitter tape dispenser. But daddy says it is not on the list. When Mommy leaves to go buy a few things and daddy sees a lunch box that he had when he was a boy. He really wants to buy it. The kids say it is not on the list, but they will let him buy the lunch box, if they can buy all the fun things. Daddy doesn’t get to buy his favorite lunchbox, but the kids buy it for him as a surprise.
I didn’t really like Daddy’s Back-to-School Shopping Adventure. I feel like the words didn’t flow right, and the pictures didn’t really show more to the story. It was a cute idea, but the story just didn’t have enough for me to like it. The only thing I did like was that the illustrations are bright, and colorful. I would not recommend this story to other kids.
