Daddy Long Legs

Daddy Long Legs is a book about a little boy and his dad. When the dad takes the little boy to school, the car has trouble starting, and the little boy is afraid that the dad won’t be able to come pick him up. So the dad tells him a lot of different ways that he will come get the little boy. The little boy keeps asking his dad what would happen if all his ways didn’t work. In the end, the dad tells him that he would use his long legs to run and get him even if all the other ways didn’t work. I like this story. I like the dad’s imagination of ways to get the little boy. The illustrations are fun to look at and sometimes very silly.
