Cranky Chicken

There is a very cranky Chicken. There is a very speedy worm. There is also an evil leaf on top of Speedy. When cranky Chicken arrives, Chicken kicks the leaf away and finds Speedy. Together, Speedy and Chicken decide to become best-feathered friends, or BFFs, since neither one of them have one. The only rule to being friends is to figure out just how to be friends.

I really enjoyed reading this book and thought it was funny that cranky Chicken wore cranky pants and sometimes had a stuffed bunny with him. When I was reading this book, I wondered how Speedy handcrafted two shirts for Chicken and him. I thought the art was really nice, and the story was a slice of life. My favorite character is cranky Chicken and my favorite part was the list in the book showing everything that makes Chicken really cranky. I recommend this book to anyone who likes the following: chickens, worms, and very silly books. I hope that you read this book, I did, and I loved it.
