Count on the Subway
This is a short counting book about the subway. It counts up to ten and then back down to one. All of the things that are counted in the book are true about subways. This book reminded me of the Underground in London where I use to live! If you haven’t ever been on a subway, then you will get to learn about what things you might see by reading this book. Some of the things that were counted in the book were, stairs, escalators, people, empty seats and turnstiles. This book was very easy for me to read. Each page only has one sentence. The illustrations in this book went with each number. I think that kids that are learning to count, learning to read, or that want to learn about subways would like this book. The illustrations are very colorful and fun to look at. My younger siblings had fun reading the numbers and counting the pictures in the illustrations.
