This is a cookbook that you can also color. It shows you different recipes for things. The sections are Breakfasts, Salads and Sides, Main Courses, and Sweet Treats. The breakfast section has recipes like a Berry Smoothie or Cinnamon Pancakes. You can make things like Fruit Salad, Creamy Potato Salad, or Sweet Potato Fries. You can make Macaroni and Cheese, not from a box – you use potato chips on the top! Or Roast Chicken or Pork Chops. For dessert, you could make Chocolate Cookie Nuggets or Peanut Butter Brownies. The recipes don’t have a lot of ingredients, but it is probably for someone that already has some experience cooking. You have to do some chopping and cutting, and use the oven and stovetop. The recipes are broken down into easy steps, but you might need some help from an adult to know what it means to saute, like when you are making risotto, or when you are making the brownies you have to melt chocolate in a bowl that is sitting over the top of hot water in a saucepan. It’s nice for a cookbook because it’s nice to color in it as you go through the recipes.
