Con Pollo

Cute little Pollo wants to play with you. Whether it be at the beach or the soccer field or the dance floor, or the library, she is super friendly and is ready to play and teach you some Spanish. Are you ready for some fun?

Pollo is very cute, and she has much energy! This is a nice picture book to learn some Spanish words like bailar is dancing, el pollito is chick, and las estrellas is stars. I like the translation page at the end of the book because it helps you sound out the Spanish words. I really like el pollito because she is so cute, and I like the sound of el pollito. I also like how instead of saying “cheep cheep” for a baby chick, in Spanish, you say “pio pio.” That’s so cute! I recommend this picture book to kids who like cute stories and who like to learn some Spanish.
