Cola Fountains and Spattering Paint Bombs
Cola Fountains and Spattering Paint Bombs is a science experiment book. There are 47 different experiments you can make using things you generally find around your house. Each experiment has a symbol that lets you know if it will explode, take a long time, if it is messy, if it requires heat, or safety goggles, or if you have to do it outside. Each is also assigned a difficulty level. This makes it easy to find an experiment that fits your needs. Each experiment gives simple directions of what to do and a brief scientific explanation of why it works.
All the experimental pages include a drawing of a little girl and a scientist doing the experiment. I think it is funny that in each drawing, the scientist does not look like he is having any fun at all, but the little girl is having a lot of fun. The experiments I tried were successful and easy to do. We did the “Dancing Raisin” experiment in a short five minutes! I have not tried all of them yet but I want to do them all!
