Code Name: Serendipity
Ever since Sadie’s best friend, Jude, moved away, Saide is lonely and doesn’t have any friends. One day, Sadie meets a dog in the forest next to her house and gives the dog food. Sadie realizes she might be telepathically talking to the dog. Later at school, Sadie has a vision of the dog running away from something. And sure enough, at the animal shelter, Sadie finds the dog, who tells her telepathically that her name is Dewey. Sadie, her grandpa, and her new friend, Macy, have to come up with a plan to save Dewey, but they are running out of time.
This story is interesting and enjoyable. The characters are believable, and I can relate to Sadie. I think it’s really cool how Dewey and Sadie can telepathically talk to each other. My favorite part in this book is when they try to take Dewey from the animal shelter.
