City Trails – Washington DC
My book review is about City Trails: Washington DC. It is written by Moira Butterfield. This is my third City Trails book review. I enjoy reading these books that tell you about special places in different cities. I liked the characters Amelia and Marco who “created” the different trails. Would you rather be chosen as a US/Japanese Cherry Blossom Queen, rub the Belser Auditorium hippo’s nose, or spell the word “Feldenkrais” in the National Spelling Bee? You could do any of those things in this city. There are a lot of facts and trails in this book. If you want to hear a Funk Parade, take the “City Sounds” trail. If you want to go in a tunnel under a mall, go to the “Underground Washington” trail. If you want to see the ghost of Clover Adams, why not take the “Washington G-g-g-ghosts” trail? If you want to see a show in the Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, take the “Showtime” trail and see dancing and puppets. If you want to go through all of these trails, open this book!
