Cities of the World

Cities of the World is a fun book! It takes you on an adventure around the world to explore many popular cities! Each page has neat cut-outs of the city skyline. The book also features population information, weather, the national tree and animal, and a flag of each city’s nation. The text has small word bubble facts about each city. Which will be your favorite?

The colorful illustrations feature tall skyscrapers as well as a diverse group of people who live in that city. In Tokyo, Japan, Mount Fuji is featured in the illustrations, as well as the Japanese national tree, the cherry blossom. I think it really would’ve been neat if the illustrations would have included the national animal for each city as well. I really like this book as it’s fun to explore new places all over the world.
