Chicken or Egg: Who Comes First?

Chicken or Egg is a book written by Brenda S. Miles and Susan D. Sweet. This book addresses the classic question: Which came first—the chicken or the egg? In this colorful picture book, Chicken plays with Egg. Then, Egg plays with Chicken. Then, they get together and become best friends. This is a rhyming book. For example, at one point in the book, the author writes, “Fast. Passed. Last.” when Chicken and Egg have a race. So, in this book, the question, “Who comes first?” really refers to a chicken and an egg racing. Either way, I love rhymes. So this is a good book for me. But who comes first – Chicken or Egg? You’ll have to read the book to find out! This is a book for younger kids and would be good for new readers to learn different forms of words. Even though I am older, I still enjoyed this book, and my little brother will definitely like it because he loves chickens. Overall, I give this book a strong recommendation.
