Cheetah Dreams
Cheetah Dreams is a poem about cheetahs, but it is also a book full of facts on these amazing animals. Everyone knows that cheetah’s are the fastest land animals alive, but reading this book taught me a lot more information about cheetahs, like how they can go from zero to sixty in just three seconds! While a lot of big cats in Africa are nocturnal, meaning they are active at night, cheetahs are not. They are diurnal, which means they are most active in the day. The tear marks on their faces are not just pretty, but they help keep sunlight from reflecting off their fur and into their eyes, which helps them see better. There are so many interesting facts about cheetahs that can be learned by reading this book, and I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves these super fast, big cats!
One of the most important things I got from this book is that cheetahs are dying because of humans taking over their territory and killing them, which is causing the number of cheetahs living in Africa to drop more than any other big cats in Africa. I dream of a world where cheetahs will be safe from the dangers that are causing them to die off. We need to act fast to save these amazing animals from possible extinction. Read Cheetah Dreams. It is a great read for anyone who enjoys reading about these amazing creatures.
