Cheesie Mack Is Sort of Freaked Out
This book is about Cheesie Mack (his real name is Ronald Mack) and Georgie Sinkoff, his friend. They have a lot of adventures. Each year they do a “massive halloween prank” that is usually pretty funny. This particular adventure contains buckets-o’-guts and an alien space craft!
The Cheesie Mack series is great and hilarious. It is really well written. The characters seem realistic and live in a very normal neighborhood. It’s from Cheesie’s point of view, and it is just like he’s a kid you might know. In this book, there are a lot of funny lists and made up words like splenderfull (splendid + wonderful). Cheesie is a runner for the cross country team, Georgie is a basketball player which isn’t mentioned much in this book but in Cheesie Mack is Not Exactly Famous it is talked about a lot. Cheesie also has a mean sister called June, but he calls her Goon.
I recommend this book to people who like Roald Dahl and Carl Hiaasen.
