Champions of Breakfast (The Cold Cereal Saga)

This is the third and final book in The Cold Cereal Saga and while it was okay, I was really hoping for a 5 star ending, but it just didn’t happen. Scott is still stuck in the other world after Emily had to close the portal between the worlds on him and their friends. He must work with his friends to finally shut down the Goodco Cereal Company for good. What this book does have is a fast paced story line that is never boring. The author, Adam Rex, likes to play on words and this gives the book a funny aspect. It also has dragons, giants, fairies, pixies, elves, a leprechaun, dogs who are kids, and so much more. It is like he pulled every cool creature and idea into this book and each one had a specific role.

I highly suggest if you are going to read this book to start with the first book. There is so much story leading up to this book that helps make more sense. If you’re after a short series, you might as well give this one a try!
