This book, Celebrating North Carolina, makes me want to go to North Carolina for real. I read about its nice beaches on the ocean and neat lighthouses that you can climb to the top of. The book says that the tallest brick lighthouse in the country is located at Cape Hatteras on the island off the coast of North Carolina called the Outer Banks. That is pretty neat. I read about sand dunes and how people sandsurf and hang-glide at the dunes. The large forests, farms and all of the animals in North Carolina sound neat too.

The book shows how some places in North Carolina are really good for bird watching, camping, exploring, farming, crafting and making furniture. The festivals that I read about look like they would be fun to be at too. This book, Celebrating North Carolina, is full of interesting things about North Carolina. I hope to be able to go and see the cool things in North Carolina one day.
