Celebrating Massachusetts: 50 States to Celebrate (Green Light Readers Level 3)
I was able to read the book but I did not understand few things in the book. I would like to know more about what happened in the Boston Tea Party. This book needs a grown up’s help to understand. I liked that the bold words had their meaning written at the end of the book. The pictures are very beautiful in the book. I loved the picture of the swan boat. I want to go and have a ride in the swan boat. I liked the Fenway park and the Red Sox. My brother has a Red Sox T-Shirt. There are many words and names in the book that I was not familiar with. This book would be better for a big kid who knows about the history already. I liked the activities at the end of the book. This made me read some pages of the book again. I liked the activity 4 the most, where I have to pretend that I am a tour guide. I also liked Wampanoag people. They showed the pilgrims what to do. It was wonderful learning about Massachusetts.
