Cece Loves Science and Adventure

Cece Loves Science and Adventure is about a girl named Cece who is like a girl scout but she hasn’t been doing well at sewing or dance to get those pins. One activity she is looking forward to is going camping where they will work on earning a pin. Cece thinks she is going to be good at it. She packs more than what is on her checklist so she will be prepared. When Cece gets to the campsite, her friends Caroline and Daisy are there. She also brings her dog, Einstein. The girls get a list of things they need to do to earn their Adventure Girl pin. The girls go on a hike, but Cece can tell is going to storm. Can Cece use her STEM skills to save the day?

I loved Cece Loves Science and Adventure because I also like adventure. I liked how Cece checked how far away the storm was because it is the same way that I check. I really liked the illustrations because they are colorful, and had lots of details, like the leaves, bugs, and deer. I love that you can see Cece’s writing and drawings she makes in her notebook to help her solve the problems. I know that there is another book in this series called Cece Loves Science and I hope to find it at my library to read it. I recommend Cece Loves Science and Adventure to Girl and Boy Scouts, and other kids who like STEM and adventures.
