Cats Are Cats is a cute book about a lady named Miss Bell who adopts a cute little orange kitten. She names the kitten Tiger and he grows and grows. Miss Bell isn’t bothered by his size, she just says, “Cats are cats.” Then one day she and Tiger are out for a walk and they stop at the pet store. Miss Bell buys some pet fish for Tiger because she thinks all cats like fish. The ending is so funny. You have to read it to find out the surprise!

My favorite part of the story is when Tiger is a little kitten and Miss Bell feeds and plays with him. They even watch TV together. I wish I could have a little kitten. I would love to play with it and read to it, but I don’t know how I would feel if it turned out to be a tiger! I loved the surprise ending and I think you will too. The illustrations are cute and funny and my favorite picture was the one where Miss Bell was bringing Tiger home and holding him up in front of the mirror. Tiger was such a cute little kitten! This is a good book for any kids who like animals, especially cat lovers like me.
