This is a book I would highly recommend. The animals’ quick wit and comebacks to the game master make this book laugh-out-loud funny. My favorite part is when the cat wants the dragon to eat the dog! The game master has the cat roll the dice, and she rolls high enough and the dog gets eaten. The illustrations in this book are absolutely hilarious! The animals are brought to life in their battle gear, complete with armor and weapons! This is a great introduction to companions for those wanting to learn more about their abilities in Dungeons & Dragons.
