Busy Betty

Busy Betty is a story about a girl named Betty who is always busy. Betty has been busy doing things since she’s been born; it doesn’t seem like she knows anything different than that. Along with being busy, Betty likes to jump from thing to thing and has some trouble staying focused.

One day, Betty is super excited about her friend Mae coming over to play, but then she sees, or actually smells, her dog, Frank! How can she have Mae over when he is so dirty?! Betty’s mind starts racing about ways of fixing this problem, including some extra time for playing while “trying” out things to do. Betty has to focus to figure out the problem, and she and Mae take the problem and make up their own business of cleaning other dogs in a fun and exciting way.

Busy Betty is about being able to do anything if you stick your mind to it and try hard enough. It is exciting to read about Betty and her adventures, especially when it seems like because she can’t focus, she can’t accomplish much, but even though she can’t focus the best, she still manages to come up with some great ideas that help other people!
