Being mischievous can be fun, and this book is all about a group of animal friends causing mischief around the woods. Each friend has their own special skill and while each is very different, they learn to work together to solve any problem. The main problem the friends have is that forest rangers are out to trap the animals. The animal friends do their best to stop the rangers. Monkey and Skunky build a mechanical trap. Le Fox, Piggy, and Weenie (the squirrel) do their best to confuse the rangers by running in circles and leading them in the wrong direction. Bunny uses his carrots as weapons to defeat the rangers.

This was a great book filled with action from to beginning to end. It was very funny and had me laughing out loud. The book was a good example of how different personalities can work together very well. The only thing that I was confused about was the title of the book because in this story Bunny and Monkey are friends who work together, not battle against each other.
