Bugs from Head to Tail
Bugs from Head to Tail shows you parts of the bug’s body and lets you find out what the bug is. What I like about this book is the way that it teaches you all about bugs. It first asks a question and then shows the bug and the information about it. I like this because it sounds like a mystery, and we can use the clues in the picture to guess what the bug is. My favorite part is the last page because it includes a lot of bugs that are cool, too, and it covers a lot of other bugs! Most of my favorites came from that page.
I give it five stars because it teaches a lot about bugs and doesn’t make you feel bored. I recommend this book to K-2 grade students because the short but informational paragraphs are enough to keep the reader’s attention, and I feel that the simplified illustrations are really fun to look at!
