Brooding YA Hero: Becoming a Main Character (Almost) as Awesome as Me
I had so much fun reading about Broody. He’s funny, refreshing, and makes some great points throughout the novel. Are you tired of the same old YA book filled with cliché plot lines and the same overused characters? Well, Broody calls it all out in a hilarious and endearing way. I admit, I followed Broody on twitter and had his tweets set on notification so I could get them as soon as they came in. The storyline is not to be taken seriously–it’s meant to be ironic. Sometimes as a reader, you need books that don’t take themselves too seriously. It makes for a nice change. This is a book for readers looking for something light, and with all those dark and depressing stories it there, this is the perfect one to pick up!
