Bringing Down the Mouse
Charlie Lewis is a semi-normal kid who goes to the Nagassack middle school. One day Charlie meets a mysterious high schooler named Finn who has set up a group called the Carnival Killers which go around the carnival beating games that are unbeatable. Charlie has been brought into the group because he is the only one who can pull off the biggest game yet, The Wheel of Wonder! To do it Charlie must go to Incredo Land and win enough tickets to get a chance to spin the wheel and win a prize. Will Charlie and his friends be able to do it? Read Bringing Down the Mouse to find out!
This book was interesting and had lots of fun hidden in the story. I especially like how Charlie didn’t want to do anything wrong and how his parents don’t spend money unless they absolutely have to. I liked how Charlie got to learn how to beat carnival games that seemed impossible to win. I thought it was interesting how Charlie got on so well with every single one of his friends.
