Boston Jacky: Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber, Taking Care of Business (Bloody Jack Adventures)
Boston Jacky by L.A. Meyer is a wonderful and great book. It has the perfect touch of everything. It has the perfect touch of drama, mixed with the blend and sense of action and adventure makes this one of the best books I have ever read. It also has a good part of mystery and really gives a good feel of what it was like during the women’s suffrage. This book has descriptions so vivid that you really feel like you’re actually there and the juicy words really tell you what is going on throughout the book. The book is slightly confusing at first but becomes crystal clear after a while. This book is really recommended for people who like adventure and action and also for people who would like a nice blend of mystery and suspense with a little thriller mixed into it. I’d say this is for older kids because of the complex ideas and the events and wording would not really make sense for younger kids but this is an excellent book. Recommended for ages twelve to fifteen.
