Blue Penguin and the Sensational Surf (Fujimini Adventure)

This is a book in the Fujimini Adventure Series. It is book number 7. I have never read any of the other books in this series. I did not really like this book and probably not read any other books from this series. If someone has read the other books and likes them, they might like this book more. It is about a penguin and other animals at a swim and surf school on Fujimini Island. A Kappa is near them. A Kappa is a mystical creature. It chases a silver bunny and then a whale swallows them. They eventually are saved and both come out the blow hole. The whale takes the Kappa back to his family. The story was boring and the pictures were also boring. I thought there were too many words for a story that didn’t have a lot going on. In the back of the story there is a Glossary of Asian Associations. I liked this part of the book the best. It taught me about some things that are important to Asian culture.
