Bloom
This magical fairy lived in a kingdom that was made of glass and it was nice, clean, and royal. But the fairy was dirty and not tidy, so the people in the kingdom got mad at her and she went to live in the forest. Then the kingdom started to fall apart, so the king went out into the forest to find the fairy. The fairy met him and he said, “Show me your magic that will save our kingdom!” The fairy showed him a bucket of mud. But the king got really mad and rode off. Then the queen tried, but she got mad too. Finally an ordinary girl went to ask the fairy to help them. And she listened to the fairy and learned how to save the kingdom.
I like this because I love to look at the pictures and see what they have in them. My favorite picture is where the ordinary girl knocked on the kingdom. There was a great lesson that the fairy told the girl — that there is no such thing as an ordinary girl. And also this book tells you that it’s okay to get dirty so you can make things.
