Bizarre Space: A Kid’s Guide to Our Strange, Unusual Universe

A million different stories about space all in one place! This is a really great book that explores many unusual and amazing things that make up the solar system and outer space. We learn fun facts about everything from the moon to the different planets, from Pluto (“a dwarf is a dwarf, of course”) to the Milky Way (“a not-so-wimpy-galaxy”) to the death of stars. I really enjoyed reading so many different theories about parts of space that we know so little about. I think kids of all ages and even adults who are interested in space will find this a good book to read. The pictures and illustrations are so many and really wonderful, and they bring the stories to life. The authors know so much about space and find the most unusual facts to write about, and they make it interesting. They write in science language that is easy to understand. I hope they write another book because I can hardly wait to find out even more cool stuff about space!
