Bitter And Sweet

I liked Bitter and Sweet. It was about moving, and we just moved. Hannah is not happy about moving. She doesn’t think there will be anything good about it. I was excited to move and it was fun. It was very sad when the teacher took all of Hannah’s things down at school and she said goodbye to her friends. Leaving her home and the place where she was born made her feel sad, but her grandma kept telling her to try to find something good. What did happen was that she made a new friend, Maya. She liked Maya’s gift, but she forgot to add the sugar, which made it bitter. Once she added the sweetness, it made everything better. Sometimes, you just have to try harder to make things better. I give this book five stars.
