Biguana

Description

Biguana is big. His best friend Pinto is not.

Biguana is so big that he is easily seen by some friends in the water, so he does some tricks to show them all. Pinto feels sad and left out when Biguana won’t play with him and instead does tricks for everyone else. Then, the next day everyone sees Pinto doing his own tricks, and they cheer him on and want to watch him. The. Biguana knows what it’s like to feel sad and alone. They decide to always be friends.

This book is really brightly colored. My favorite part is when Pinto gets a chance to do his tricks and is able to show everyone and be cheered on. Since each friend knows what it is like to feel left out, they can be sure to include one another so that no one feels sad.
