Big Wishes for Little Feat

I think that this book is well written and has spectacular pictures in it. The plot and storyline were a marvelous example of creativity. The vocabulary in this book was outstanding and I find the characters very engaging and interesting.

This is a great book about hope and never giving up. I relate to Ella and her longing for something special. I think this book would be good for all ages, especially eight and up. It is a perfect book for anyone who is looking for a feel-good story.

I love how the story switches from Lafitte’s point of view to Ella’s point of view. This was engaging and made me feel the feelings they were feeling. Lafitte reminds me of myself in trying to be the best. The moral of the story, “Keep on Believing”, fits very well with the plot and the theme.

The pictures are very realistic and beautiful. I like the details and that they are very colorful. They explain the story and it helps bring the story to life. The details in the story make it very interesting. If I had to pick things I didn’t like, they would be the writing was small and hard to read. I also think the section about Ella from when the reader was introduced to her to when she met Lafitte, was a little slow. It didn’t hold my attention as well as the other parts of the book.

The story was believable and I would classify this book as realistic fiction. I wish the story was longer! I cared about what was happening with the story because I care and felt connected to the characters! This book is amazing.
