Big Dog and Little Dog Going for a Walk

Big Dog and Little Dog go for a walk and get really dirty because they play in the mud. Their owner is a lady and she gets really dirty, too, because of the dogs. The dogs get nice and clean when they have a bath. But when they shake the water off their fur to dry off, the lady gets wet. At the end of the story, Big Dog and Little Dog are ready to go out for a walk again. But the lady is too dirty and very tired.

This book is meant for kids who are just learning how to read. I’m still learning how to read so I only know some words. I had my grandma read this book over and over because I think it is so funny. I love the picture of the dogs playing in the mud. The lady covers her face because she can’t believe what the dogs are doing. I also like the other picture when they are walking home. All of them are so dirty. There are activities at the end of the book, too. I love Big Dog and Little Dog and recommend this book for Kindergarten and 1st grade kids.
