Big and Little Are Best Friends: A Story of Two Friends

Big is an elephant, and Little is a small mouse. They like different things, often the opposite things, but they are best friends, even if one likes down and one likes up, or one likes square and the other one likes round. They like to play different music, and they have different habits, too. Big takes naps, and Little doesn’t (just like me–I never nap!). Their personalities are different: Big is a bit shy, and Little has a lot of courage. On the other hand, Big likes to be silly (I am that way, too), but Little is more serious. They like to cook different things, and they even go at a different speed. Sometimes they fight, but they make up and they are friends again. This is a good book; it has funny rhymes, and it made me think of all of my friends who are very different from me–and sometimes even think I’m a bit crazy–but care for me and I care for them. It’s nice that we can all be friends regardless.
