Bera the One-Headed Troll
Bera, The One-Headed Troll, written by Eric Orchard, is about a troll named Bera, who travels across the world to return a baby to its human village. He gets followed by a witch who wants to turn the baby into a monster. He fights goblins, wolves, witches, mermaids, and even evil bats! I liked this book because there were a lot of exciting parts and cool, mystical characters. I do wish that there could have been some calm times in this story though. I also didn’t like that there were some spooky and even scary parts in this story. The illustrations were very good in this story, although they could have been a little less creepy. My favorite part in this story was when Bera fought the witch who was chasing him. I liked that this was a graphic novel because it was easier to read and there were some really cool pictures. My favorite character was Bera because it was very brave of him to take the baby back to its village. I would definitely recommend this book to others because it was awesome.
