Bears in a Band
Four little bears find musical instruments sitting on chairs. What is a little bear to do, but pick up an instrument and play, of course! The bears choose between round cymbals, bells on a string, a golden horn, and a shiny red drum. They form a band and play their new instruments very loudly! It is too loud, and it does not sound very nice at first. They are not trying to play music together. They are each playing their own song at the same time. Yikes! Then the little bears worry – will they wake Big Brown Bear from his rest? Will he be a mad, grumpy bear because the four little bears woke him up on accident? They are having so much fun with their music! Will they have to stop playing their instruments? That would be very sad for the four little bears!
My favorite parts of the book were the rhyming words and the cute little bear cubs. Calico is my favorite bear cub because of her cute white spots on top of a fluffy blue coat!
