Baxter the Bunny and Danny the Bear are friends. One day they hear a loud noise coming from the trees, so loud that their ears start to hurt. It is Buford and the other jays, who just moved in and sing so loud that everyone is bothered. When the animals ask them to quiet down, they refuse and start calling everyone names, making everyone angry. The animals do not know what to do until they they hear a buzzing noise. It’s the bees! They seem so happy and peaceful and are always working together. Baxter asks what their secret is, and Queen Beth explains that, by using a very nice song, they work together hard and in peace, helping each other out. All the forest animals start singing that song and go to the tree where the jays are and sing it out loud. The jays lose their power and fly away and from that moment on never call anyone names again. This book was not too exciting. The animal characters were interesting, but the story wasn’t much. Bullies can be violent and hurt your body, and this book does not explain what to do then.
