This is a book about the various types of food that you can get in major league baseball parks. This book talks about American League ballparks first, then National League ballparks. It also has a food map and an All-Food team! For each team, the book talks a little bit about the ballpark found there, especially its history and what you can see there. All of the ballparks are found in big cities! Then the book begins to talk about the types of food (main courses and desserts) that you can get there. For example, at Target Field, located in Minnesota, you can get the Cheddar Bacon Stuffed Burger! For dessert, you can get the Apple Pie on a Stick! Yum! Target Field is the home field for the Minnesota Twins Baseball Team. A cool thing about this book is that, after you see what you can get to eat at a particular ballpark, it gives you the recipes so you can make those things yourself. And it gives you pictures to help you make the things. My daddy’s favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees, and at their stadium (Yankee Stadium), you can get a type of steak sandwich with creamy peppercorn sauce, and garlic potato wedges on the side! I don’t think I’d like that meal, but I think this book is really neat. I think anyone who enjoys baseball and cooking would like this book.
