Baking With Dad

A little girl is excited because it is a special day. She gets to bake with her dad. They get out all the ingredients, like eggs, flour, and sugar. They mix, whisk, and wait for the cake to be ready to decorate. Will the cake be ready to celebrate??

I liked Baking with Dad because it reminded me of baking with my dad. I think it is fun that she is baking with her dad since a lot of people usually bake with mom, but dads like to bake, too. The little girl has red hair, just like me, and her dad has a brown beard, like my dad. I love spending time cooking with my dad, and he has taught me how to make his pancake recipe. I really liked the illustrations, which were also done by the author. I think this book is meant for younger kids because there aren’t a lot of words. I would recommend Baking with Dad to preschool kids who like looking at the pictures in a book.
