Bad Kitty Scaredy-Cat

Bad Kitty Scaredy-Cat is about a grouchy female cat named Kitty. She is normally a very brave kitty. Then, one dark night, something terrifying happens! It is Halloween, and trick-or-treaters come to the door. Kitty doesn’t realize that the “monsters” are really just kids in costumes. She is scared by a creepy clown, a dreadful dragon, an invisible man, a putrid pirate, and a zany zombie! Kitty runs as fast as her paws will carry her and hides under the couch. That is how she becomes a scaredy-cat! What a poor, scared little kitty!

But, then Kitty sees one of the monsters drop his candy on the floor. She sees apples, strawberry licorice, white chocolate, and vanilla cookies. Yum! Seeing all of those tasty treats helps Kitty to decide not to be a Scared Kitty any more – instead she is going to be a very, very, bad, bad, BAD Kitty!

Will Bad Kitty use her new bravery for good? Probably not, with a name like Bad Kitty. I love the Bad Kitty books! The pictures are funny, especially the ones where Bad Kitty is attacking the monsters!
