I enjoyed reading about animals from all over the world! Amazing Animals and the Places They Live is a fun non-fiction fact-filled book with portraits of live animals. This book has animals from all different parts of the world from the desert, grasslands, mountains, to the ocean, savanna, and taiga. This book also had facts extinct animals and tips on how we can help endangered animals not become extinct. This book has a table of contents and an index so readers can easily find any animal they are looking for without reading the entire book. The book also has a glossary to help readers understand unknown/new words that are introduced in this book. The live-action portraits of animals are colorful and show how each animal is unique in their own way. The book tells a little about each animal’s habitat as well as what they eat or how they live. I enjoyed this book because this helps me to learn more about animals and I hope to be a zoologist when I get older. I recommend this book to all readers who want to learn more about animals all over the world!
