Attack of the Furball (Star Wars: Jedi Academy #8)

This is Christina Starspeeder’s second adventure at the Jedi Academy without her little brother, Victor.

She is on a mission with her master, Skia Ro, in the forests of Cholganna to stop illegal logging. While Christina is destroying the bad guy’s lumber processor she finds a little baby Nexu. On the way back to the Jedi Academy she names it Fluffernut. When she gets to her dorm her dorm mates don’t know what to do. They know it’s against the rules to keep it but Fluffernut is pretty cute, even though she is a Nexu. Fluffernut grows bigger and turns into a wrecking-ball, then she disappears! The masters find out that a show called Creature Carnage is making creatures fight and they say its all special effects. They all suspect that the evil people of the Creature Carnage show have kidnapped Fluffernutter and the rescue mission is about to start….

Every so often I really enjoy these light and fun adventures. The books are a mix between chapter book and comic book style so it’s super fun to read. This book had a great adventure and was enjoyable. The cartoon drawings are always really great and inspire me to draw as well!

I recommend this book to ages nine and up or just kids who like Star Wars!
