This book does not have a very interesting story, but I found it very interesting because it uses my favorite subject: math! The ants are planning the Blowout Bug Jamboree – which I found at the end of the book is like a big amusement park in the woods. In order to plan properly, they need to measure each bug according how many ants long (for example Bee is two ants long and Caterpillar is four ants long) so that they know which one is the shortest and which one is the longest. Then they find even longer bugs (Walking Stick, who is six ants long, and Butterfly, who is five ants long), and the measuring is complete. The last thing left is to find out how many bugs of each kind will come. Thanks to this work, each bug has the right ride for their size and they have a lot of fun.
