Ants ‘n’ Uncles

The uncle isn’t a very good dancer. Then he steps into an anthill. With ants in his pants, he dances really well. (The ant in the picture dances a lot better.) He dances over the hillside. (I think the little ant is helping him learn how to dance.) He dances all over the world. He dances on top of the Eiffel Tower. He’s smiling too. He dances with a penguin, an otter, and a bear. He leaves for three months. The girl looks sad. That is horrible! I like the pictures. They are all shaded in. (I’d like to make pictures like that.) I like trying to guess where he is in the pictures. I like the dragon picture best. I think he’s in China or Japan, but probably China. There is a camel and a pyramid for Egypt. There are lots of different languages in the pictures too. I love finding the ants in the pictures. Some are harder than others. It’s medium to read. I don’t know who Fred Astaire is. Some of the place names are hard. The rhymes in this book are meh. I don’t like the end of the book. It’s too sad. I’d make the uncle come back to the girl. I’d give it four stars if it had a happy ending.
