Anton and Cecil, Book 3: Cats Aloft

Two cat brothers, Anton and Cecil, have been all over the world and have had a lot of experiences. They almost fell into a volcano in Hawaii, they have ridden a horse in the Wild West, and now they are going to Chicago, where there are bloodhounds disappearing right off their leashes. They must ride a balloon, meet a snake, and learn what a cactus is. They must be careful because a powerful villain is involved, too, and he will stop at nothing.

I found the cat brothers in Anton and Cecil, Book 3: Cats Aloft by Lisa Martin to be funny and well developed. I liked that they can talk and that they act like humans at some points. The action is nonstop, and the cats are kind and nice to everybody that they meet. The author describes all of the scenes well and with detail. The dialog is like a human would talk. I think that this book is well written and has good and interesting characters. This book would be good for readers ages eight to ten.
