This book is about a dog who is telling some other dogs what it was like when he went on a trip to New York City. He saw lots of American flags, and he got painted to look like an American flag. He saw other dogs, and police officers in little houses – well, little ticket booths. And only the police officers are allowed in. He saw paintings on all the walls, but he said the coolest paintings were on fire stations. He found out about elevators because the buildings are so tall. He saw a wedge-shaped building and people painting other people’s paws. He loved looking at the park and the zoo. And he found out about doggy bags and then he flies over New York and he brings hot dog costumes to his friends. This book is really really fun because I like all the pictures. It is the funnest book that I have! The dog is so cute and funny, and American. Once he makes himself look like a triangle! There are lots of things to look at in the pictures.
