Amari and the Night Brothers (Supernatural Investigations, 1)
Amari is convinced that her brother Quinton cannot possibly be dead. While searching for clues, she comes upon a briefcase in his closet that may hold all the answers to her questions surrounding his disappearance. The briefcase opens a whole new world to Amari: magic and supernatural beings, along with malevolent magicians named the Night brothers who have been terrorizing innocent people.
Amari works to become a part of the organization named The Bureau of Supernatural Affairs so she can finally uncover the secrets about what actually happened to Quinton. Along the way, she also discovers new, amazing information about herself. Will Amari discover the truth in time to save Quinton, and the world, or is it already too late?!
I liked this book because it was very entertaining. The author does a great job of creating a world in which it seems normal for supernatural beings and magical powers to exist. I felt immersed in Amari’s world while I read this novel. It was a fun, exciting journey with plenty of twists to keep the story interesting.
