Alterations: A Graphic Novel

Kevin Lee is having a hard time at school and at home. He has to share a room with his smarter and older sister, Betty. His Popo (grandmother) recently moved from China to live with them. His Mom is always working, so no one has time for Kevin. Students at school tease him and call him Egg Boy because he brought a century egg for lunch one day. Kevin just wants to fit in. Will things ever get better for Kevin?

I like this book, and I thought the story was very interesting and funny. Popo was a funny character who loves to watch Jeopardy. I feel bad for Kevin because students at school tease him so much. Kevin also seems to have such bad luck too. I like the art and how expressive all the characters are. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes stories about fitting in and stories about family.
